Mt Cuba Center

Mt. Cuba Center is a wonderful local garden to visit.  They focus on native plants and display them in both formal and natural gardens.  Trial gardens are open to visitors.  Trial results are available on their website.

Spring is a lovely time to see the native spring ephemerals in the woodland garden.  Summer visits to the trial gardens will reward you with a premier experience, comparing the newest cultivars and how they perform in our local soils.  Fall colors will astound, before the gardens close for their needed winter rest.
